I was watching some animal planet or discovery thing about seals eating penguins. They showed this momma seal and started talking about how she had to eat more to produce more milk for her child. By the way the young seal is undernourished. So the mom goes into the water to catch some penguins or fish so she can nourish her young. She is immediately eaten by a killer whale. The young pup begins barking. The narrator again mentions the young seal is undernourished. The camera pans out and you see a scientist walks past the seal pup. Then this bird flies down and starts pecking the pup. The narrator then says something like "The pup is so mal nourished he can not even defend himself from this bird." At this point I start laughing hysterically. The reason why is sometimes I feel like the pup. Not that I can compare by any means but the hopelessness is there. I am reminded of a quote "Sometimes you got to laugh to keep from cryin'"

I liked the overly drawn out/dramatic scene of him zipping up his tent with the pup barking/wigging out just outside.

So yeah, in the beginning one of the whales whack chucked a seal and it split in two.
